NFL ACADEMY U.K. vs DE LA SALLE SPARTANS – TICKETS NOW ON SALE

Sept.10, London – The National Football League (NFL) is pleased to announce that tickets for NFL Academy vs De La Salle Spartans are now on sale via Ticketmaster.
The highly anticipated match-up will take place under the lights at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on October 8th, 2024, with the action scheduled to kick off at 6pm (BST).
For the NFL Academy, it is their third game this season against American opposition. The team kicked off the season against the 2023 #61 US nationally ranked Edgewater Eagles (Orlando, Florida) in a matchup hosted by EA Sports in Loughborough before facing off against the #9 US nationally ranked Massillon Tigers (Massillon, Ohio) at the prestigious Nike Kickoff Classic in Beaverton, Oregon during August. The team will also have a game against the defending Florida State Champion and globally renowned IMG Academy in Munich this November.
The game against the US nationally ranked #62 De La Salle Spartans will also mark the NFL Academy’s second competitive appearance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, following their comprehensive 35-0 victory over Erasmus Hall in 2023.
De La Salle poses a huge test for the NFL Academy, having earned its 31st consecutive NCS Championship in 2023. A high school with a proud history, it is famous for ‘the streak’, a period during 1992 – 2004, during which the team racked up 152 consecutive victories – a record that still stands to this day. Notable alumni include running back Maurice Jones-Drew, who will be present at the game.
This year, the NFL Academy hosts 69 players from 19 different countries and territories to the 2024-25 roster for this academic year. Amongst the 69 players, 27 hail from the U.K. and Ireland (25 from England, one from Scotland, one from Ireland). The NFL’s elite player development programme, students are based at Loughborough’s world-renowned centre of sporting excellence in partnership with Loughborough College and Loughborough University.
